7 Judge not, that ye be not judged.

2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?

10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?

11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:

29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

No juzgar a la ligera (Lc 6,37-38.41-42)

7 No juzguéis a nadie, para que Dios no os juzgue a vosotros. 2 Porque del mismo modo que juzguéis a los demás, os juzgará Dios a vosotros, y os medirá con la misma medida con que vosotros midáis a los demás. 3 ¿Por qué miras la brizna que tiene tu hermano en su ojo y no te fijas en el tronco que tienes en el tuyo? 4 ¿Cómo podrás decirle a tu hermano: “Deja que te saque la brizna que tienes en el ojo”, cuando tienes un tronco en el tuyo? 5 ¡Hipócrita! Saca primero el tronco de tu ojo, y entonces podrás ver con claridad para sacar la brizna del ojo de tu hermano.

6 No entreguéis las cosas sagradas a los perros, ni echéis vuestras perlas a los cerdos, pues las pisotearán y, revolviéndose, os harán pedazos.

Orar con confianza (Lc 11,9-13)

7 Pedid, y Dios os atenderá; buscad, y encontraréis; llamad, y Dios os abrirá la puerta. 8 Pues todo el que pide, recibe, y el que busca, encuentra, y al que llama, Dios le abrirá la puerta. 9 ¿Quién de vosotros, si su hijo le pide pan, le dará una piedra? 10 ¿O si le pide pescado, le dará una serpiente? 11 Pues si vosotros, que sois malos, sabéis dar cosas buenas a vuestros hijos, ¡cuánto más vuestro Padre que está en los cielos se las dará también a quienes se las pidan!

La regla de oro (Lc 6,31)

12 Portaos en todo con los demás como queréis que los demás se porten con vosotros. ¡En esto consisten la ley de Moisés y las enseñanzas de los profetas!

Dos puertas y dos caminos (Lc 13,24)

13 Entrad por la puerta estrecha. La puerta que conduce a la perdición es ancha, y el camino fácil, y muchos son los que pasan por ellos. 14 En cambio, es estrecha la puerta y angosto el camino que llevan a la vida, y son pocos los que los encuentran.

Los falsos profetas (Lc 6,43-44)

15 Tened cuidado con los falsos profetas. Se acercan a vosotros haciéndose pasar por ovejas, cuando en realidad son lobos feroces. 16 Por sus frutos los conoceréis, pues no pueden recogerse uvas de los espinos, ni higos de los cardos. 17 Todo árbol sano da buenos frutos, mientras que el árbol enfermo da frutos malos. 18 Por el contrario, el árbol sano no puede dar fruto malo, como tampoco puede dar buen fruto el árbol enfermo. 19 Los árboles que dan mal fruto se cortan y se hace una hoguera con ellos. 20 Así pues, también vosotros conoceréis a los falsos profetas por sus frutos.

Entrar o no entrar en el reino de los cielos (Lc 6,46; 13,25-27)

21 No todos los que dicen: “Señor, Señor” entrarán en el reino de los cielos, sino los que hacen la voluntad de mi Padre que está en los cielos. 22 Muchos me dirán en el día del juicio: “Señor, Señor, mira que en tu nombre hemos anunciado el mensaje de Dios, y en tu nombre hemos expulsado demonios, y en tu nombre hemos hecho muchos milagros”. 23 Pero yo les contestaré: “Me sois totalmente desconocidos. ¡Apartaos de mí, pues os habéis pasado la vida haciendo el mal!”.

Parábola de los dos cimientos (Lc 6,47-49)

24 Todo aquel que escucha mis palabras y obra en consecuencia, puede compararse a una persona sensata que construyó su casa sobre un cimiento de roca viva. 25 Vinieron las lluvias, se desbordaron los ríos y los vientos soplaron violentamente contra la casa; pero no cayó, porque estaba construida sobre un cimiento de roca viva. 26 En cambio, todo aquel que escucha mis palabras, pero no obra en consecuencia, puede compararse a una persona necia que construyó su casa sobre un terreno arenoso. 27 Vinieron las lluvias, se desbordaron los ríos y los vientos soplaron violentamente contra la casa que se hundió terminando en ruina total.

Conclusión del discurso

28 Cuando Jesús terminó este discurso, la gente estaba profundamente impresionada por sus enseñanzas, 29 porque los enseñaba con verdadera autoridad y no como los maestros de la ley.
