Opening Prayer:

Lord as we gather this day we ask that you bless those that are delivering your word especially our Senior Pastor Dr Diana Brevan. We also ask that all those receiving your word will do so with a open heart and that your message will be written in their spirit,

We also hold up the Leadership of Jesus is Lord Fellowship and pray that you will build a hedge of protection around their lives.

As Dr Diana comes to the podium let us take a moment to bow our heads in prayer.

Today let us remember to prayer today for ourselves. For our own needs in health, wealth and happiness and for our spiritual wellbeing and growth

As we pray also let us hold up all the prayer requests that we have received this past week. Let us also be in agreement with the unspoken prayers that lay in each of our hearts.

Let us lift up all those that have been called as Prayer Warriors, that they may have the Lord’s strength as they pray and that a hedge of protection may surround them and their families

Let us also prayer for the needs of our local Church including the needs of Jesus is Lord Fellowship WWI. Let us as God for provisions so that His church may be able to continue the work that He has set aside for it. Let us pray for those that have been called to leadership in His church that they may always have strength and a Godly vision. Let us place a hedge of protection around Leaders and their families so that they may be healed from all health problems.

Let us pray that as we listen today our heart and our inner soul will be open to the words so that we may feed freely on the message and drink from the Holy Spirit.

We welcome all National and International Fellowship members and visitors around the globe as you receive the spiritual nutrition of the Lords Word.

He Prepared A Place For Us Sermon Series

Part Four

AHITHOPHEL

2Sam 15:31 And [one] told David, saying, Ahithophel [is] among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O LORD, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.

2Sam 17:23 And when Ahithophel saw that his counsel was not followed, he saddled [his] ass, and arose, and gat him home to his house, to his city, and put his household in order, and hanged himself, and died, and was buried in the sepulchre of his father.

“AHITHOPHEL” is interpreted in ENGLISH, “my brother is foolish”

• How foolish!

• He was with the KING! And left the King for a usurper who was doomed to die… LIKE JUDAS

JUDAS

• …who had been Jesus treasurer held the treasure of the Priests who plotted against Jesus.

Matt 27:5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.

Walk out on Jesus and betray Him, and join Satan’s league, and though the devil will reward you with gold, it will be cursed, and you will die like a fool, backslidden and away from God.

AFTER THE BATTLE AGAINST ABSALOM, HAVING SEEN ABSALOM SLAIN ON A TREE, DAVID RETURNED TO JERUSALEM

2Sam 19:15 So the king returned, and came to Jordan. And Judah came to Gilgal, to go to meet the king, to conduct the king over Jordan.

2Sam 19:39 And all the people went over Jordan. And when the king was come over, the king kissed Barzillai, and blessed him; and he returned unto his own place.

DAVID CAME BACK TO JERUSALEM.

• We said earlier that JESUS already came back in one manner, though He will yet come again in a Body as He went away.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

And then we read…

John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

• The Spirit form of Jesus is the HOLY GHOST

• And when the disciples waited in Jerusalem in the upper room, The Holy Ghost filled them and it was IN JERUSALEM.

Jesus returned TO JERUSALEM.

• He crossed back over the river of Jordan – river of death – as the COMFORTER.

• HE WOULD NOT LEAVE US COMFORTLESS

• The day he crossed back over, He said that they would pray to the Father directly.

• Ever since then, we can pray in Jesus’ name.

One of the most important blessings that have to do with being in the place Jesus prepared for us is receiving the Baptism of the Holy Ghost.

• Jesus said that when He returned their joy would be made full.

• Paul said the Kingdom of God is righteousness peace and JOY IN THE HOLY GHOST

The only way we can interpret the fact that upon Jesus’ return, the disciples could pray directly to the Father, and then see them doing so after the day of Pentecost, is by saying the Holy Ghost is the Spirit form of Jesus that He used to come back to the disciples to Jerusalem.

• He said He would leave Jerusalem, and return and a place would be prepared for them upon His return, and they would have fullness of joy and also a direct line to the Father.

• THIS PROVES JESUS IS THE HOLY GHOST

THE LIGHT OF THE CITY:

• We showed that the NEW JERUSALEM is the place of LIGHT or fellowship where we walk in the light as He is in the light.

• The Glory of God lit the City and the LAMB is the light thereof.

• The Sun is the origin, glory, and the light comes from the sun

• The Father is the glory and the Son is the light

• This means that we cannot see God since He is a Spirit, but God manifested Himself in flesh and that flesh came forth from God to us so we could relate to the Father.

• Jesus as Son is like the light and the Father is like the sun.

• God manifested Himself in flesh so that we could relate to Him.

• I cannot touch the sun, but I can touch the light that comes from the sun.

• This is how John explained Jesus Christ.

John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

1Joh 1:1-3 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen [it], and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship [is] with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

• Book of Hebrews (12:22) said that we are come to MOUNT ZION, HEAVENLY JERUSALEM

The Garden of Eden was supposed to develop into a CITY

• We see the stones that make up the New Jerusalem, in the Garden of Eden.

• More about this in another sermon later on.
