Good Morning!Matthew 25:19-3019 "After a long time their master returned from his trip and called them to give an account of how they had used his money. 20 The servant to whom he had entrusted the five bags of gold said, 'Sir, you gave me five bags of gold to invest, and I have doubled the amount.' 21 The master was full of praise. 'Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let's celebrate together!' 22 "Next came the servant who had received the two bags of gold, with the report, 'Sir, you gave me two bags of gold to invest, and I have doubled the amount.' 23 The master said, 'Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let's celebrate together!' 24 "Then the servant with the one bag of gold came and said, 'Sir, I know you are a hard man, harvesting crops you didn't plant and gathering crops you didn't cultivate. 25 I was afraid I would lose your money, so I hid it in the earth and here it is.' 26 "But the master replied, 'You wicked and lazy servant! You think I'm a hard man, do you, harvesting crops I didn't plant and gathering crops I didn't cultivate? 27 Well, you should at least have put my money into the bank so I could have some interest. 28 Take the money from this servant and give it to the one with the ten bags of gold. 29 To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. But from those who are unfaithful, even what little they have will be taken away. 30 Now throw this useless servant into outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'Holy Bible, New Living Translation, (Wheaton, IL: Tyndale House Publishers, Inc.) 1996.The master divided the money among his servants according to their abilities.  No one received more or less than he could handle.  If he failed in his assignment, his excuse could not be that he was overwhelmed.  Failure would indicate only laziness or hatred for the master.  The bags of gold represent the resources God has given us.  God has given us time, talents and other gifts to do the work He has set out for us to do.  These are given according to the abilities that God has also given us.  Nothing is of ourselves; we only use the things God has given us. As the servants in this parable, we are also expected to increase what He has given us before He returns. The issue is not how much you have but how well you use what you have.  Are you tithing and giving offerings with the money that goes through your hands?  Are you using your skills to help others and further His Kingdom?  These are the things He will be looking at. How well you used the gifts that He gave you under His direction, through His power and for His purpose.  There isn't any part of you in the doing.  You are merely a vessel that God works through using the gifts He gave you.  Examine what God has given you and then give it back to Him by using it for Him.  Seek His direction and use His power to do His will and you will hear from Him, "well done my good and faithful servant."Have a God Day!

Has sido fiel en el manejo de esta pequeña cantidad, así que ahora te daré muchas más responsabilidades. ¡Celebremos juntos!". 22 »Luego vino el criado que había recibido las dos bolsas de oro, con el informe: 'Señor, me diste dos bolsas de oro para invertir, y he duplicado la cantidad'. 23 El señor dijo: "Bien, siervo mío bueno y fiel. Has sido fiel en el manejo de esta pequeña cantidad, así que ahora te daré muchas más responsabilidades. ¡Celebremos juntos!". 24 »Entonces vino el criado que tenía una bolsa de oro y le dijo: "Señor, sé que eres un hombre duro, que cosechas que no plantaste y recoges cosechas que no cultivaste. 25 Tenía miedo de perder tu dinero, así que lo escondí en la tierra, y aquí está. 26 Pero el señor respondió: '¡Siervo malvado y perezoso! ¿Crees que soy un hombre duro, verdad, cosechando cosechas que no planté y recogiendo cosechas que no cultivé? 27 Bueno, al menos deberías haber puesto mi dinero en el banco para que yo pudiera tener algún interés. 28 Toma el dinero de este siervo y dáselo al que tiene las diez bolsas de oro. 29 A los que usan bien lo que se les da, se les dará aún más, y tendrán en abundancia. Pero a los que son infieles, hasta lo poco que tienen les será quitado. 30 Arrojad, pues, a este siervo inútil a las tinieblas de afuera, donde será el llanto y el crujir de dientes.'Santa Biblia, Nueva Traducción Viviente, (Wheaton, IL: Tyndale House Publishers, Inc.) 1996.El amo dividió el dinero entre sus sirvientes de acuerdo a sus habilidades.  Nadie recibía más o menos de lo que él podía manejar.  Si fracasaba en su asignación, su excusa no podía ser que estaba abrumado.  El fracaso sólo indicaría pereza u odio hacia el amo.  Las bolsas de oro representan los recursos que Dios nos ha dado.  Dios nos ha dado tiempo, talentos y otros dones para hacer la obra que Él se ha propuesto que hagamos.  Estos se dan de acuerdo a las habilidades que Dios también nos ha dado.  Nada es de nosotros mismos; solo usamos las cosas que Dios nos ha dado. Como siervos de esta parábola, también se espera que aumentemos lo que Él nos ha dado antes de que Él regrese. El problema no es cuánto tienes, sino qué tan bien usas lo que tienes.  ¿Estás diezmando y dando ofrendas con el dinero que pasa por tus manos?  ¿Estás usando tus habilidades para ayudar a otros y promover Su Reino?  Estas son las cosas que Él estará mirando. Cuán bien usaste los dones que Él te dio bajo Su dirección, a través de Su poder y para Su propósito.  No hay ninguna parte de ti en el hacer.  Eres simplemente una vasija a través de la cual Dios obra usando los dones que Él te dio.  Examina lo que Dios te ha dado y luego devuélvelo usándolo para Él.  Busca Su dirección y usa Su poder para hacer Su voluntad y escucharás de Él: "Bien hecho, mi siervo bueno y fiel".¡Que tengas un Día de Dios!
