Good Morning!
Philippians 4:4
4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

God has requested that we come before Him with thanksgiving before we make our request known. When God instruct us, it is always to our benefit, even though we may not fully understand why. When we come before God and thank Him for past answers to our prayers, we are reminded that He does answer our prayers. We are reminded that when we put our trust in Him, He is faithful to meet our needs. And as we remember all of the things that God has already supplied, it is easier for us to know that He will also meet this need. Our trust muscle grows as we exercise it. But God doesn’t stop there; He promises us peace of mind and heart if we follow His instructions. He promises peace that our minds cannot comprehend. So the next time you have a need, before you bring it to God, remember the past prayers answered and thank Him for all that He has given you. Then bring your need to Him and trust that He will supply. Do not doubt or worry, but fully trust Him, maybe for the first time in your walk with Him. As you trust, you will experience peace. Because you will know that whatever happens, God has all things worked out for your good.
