Good morning!
Psalms 118:19-28
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will enter into them, I will give thanks unto Jehovah. 20 This is the gate of Jehovah; The righteous shall enter into it. 21 I will give thanks unto thee; for thou hast answered me, And art become my salvation. 22 The stone which the builders rejected Is become the head of the corner. 23 This is Jehovah’s doing; It is marvellous in our eyes. 24 This is the day which Jehovah hath made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. 25 Save now, we beseech thee, O Jehovah: O Jehovah, we beseech thee, send now prosperity. 26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of Jehovah: We have blessed you out of the house of Jehovah. 27 Jehovah is God, and he hath given us light: Bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar. 28 Thou art my God, and I will give thanks unto thee: Thou art my God, I will exalt thee. 29 Oh give thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; For his lovingkindness ‘endureth’ for ever.

Are you joyful today? Do you have many days of joy? Everyday is a day that the Lord has made and as His child you are to be full of joy. Because you are on your way to heaven and have the righteousness of Christ is reason to have joy. Having joy is not laughing all day and being happy about your circumstances in life. Christ was not happy while He was on the Cross, but He did have the joy of the Lord knowing that He was in God’s will and knowing what was to come because He was obedient. Joy is a decision you make. It is impossible to have joy without peace. Peace is knowing that God is in control and that all things will work for your good according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). It is trusting that God is your Father and that you are safe in His love, no matter what the storm of life may bring. Do not let the Satan steal your joy from you. He knows that if he can steal your joy, you will not live a victorious life. Make the decision today to trust that God gave you this day and to be glad in it. He is your God and thank Him for He is good and you are His child.
