Psalm 52
King James Version
52 Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually.
2 The tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.
3 Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.
4 Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue.
5 God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah.
6 The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him:
7 Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.
8 But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.
9 I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints.

52 Al músico principal. Masquil[a] de David cuando Doeg el edomita fue y le informó a Saúl diciendo: “David ha ido a la casa de Abimelec”.
¿Por qué te jactas, oh poderoso,
de la maldad contra el piadoso? Todo el día 2 tu lengua maquina agravios; como navaja afilada produce engaño.
3 Has amado el mal más que el bien;
la mentira, más que el hablar justicia.
Selah[b]
4 Has amado toda palabra perversa; oh, lengua engañosa.
5 Por eso Dios te derribará para siempre;
te aplastará y te arrancará de tu morada.
Él te desarraigará de la tierra de los vivientes. Selah[c]
6 Los justos lo verán y temerán.
Se reirán de él diciendo:
7 “¡Vean al hombre que no puso a Dios como su fortaleza
sino que confió en sus muchas
riquezas
y se refugió en su maldad!”.
8 Pero yo seré como un olivo verde
en la casa de Dios;
en la misericordia del SEÑOR confiaré eternamente y para siempre.
9 Por siempre te daré gracias por lo que has hecho.
En presencia de tus fieles esperaré
en tu nombre, porque es bueno.
