THE GREAT DAY OF OUR GOD
Zephaniah 1:14 (NKJV) The great day of the Lord is near; It is near and hastens quickly. The noise of the day of the LORD is bitter; There the mighty men shall cry out.
Jesus is coming back! Let me say that again: Jesus is coming back! he came the first time, as was prophesied that He would, and the Bible states that He is coming a second time. This time, He is going to set up His Kingdom, and no one is going to stop Him.
For the world, the unsaved, this is not going to be a good day, but for those of us who have accepted the free gift of salvation through the blood of Jesus, this is going to be the greatest day of all! Listen to what the scripture says in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, "For the Lord, Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words."
That is so powerful! Our Jesus is going to come back with a shout, and all those who have died will rise to their glorified bodies, and those who remain at that time will see all of their loved ones that have died before them. This is why we can comfort one another with these words.
So today, look up! Our redemption is drawing near. The world is falling apart, darkness is sweeping the land like never before, but our light is getting brighter and brighter. Soon, yes very soon, we are going to see the King of kings and Lord of lords. Soon we are going to see the One Who loves us and laid down His life for us. And He will bring with Him all those that have gone before us. Wow! What a day of celebration that is going to be!
CONFESSION: My King, the Lord Jesus, is coming back soon, and I am going to be ready for His return. I long to see the One Who loves me like no other.

EL GRAN DÍA DE NUESTRO DIOS
Sofonías 1:14 (RVC) El gran día del Señor está cerca; Está cerca y se apresura rápidamente. El estruendo del día de Jehová es amargo; Allí clamarán los valientes.
¡Jesús va a volver! Permítanme decirlo de nuevo: ¡Jesús está regresando! él vino la primera vez, como se profetizó que lo haría, y la Biblia dice que Él vendrá por segunda vez. Esta vez, Él va a establecer Su Reino, y nadie lo va a detener.
Para el mundo, los no salvos, este no va a ser un buen día, pero para aquellos de nosotros que hemos aceptado el regalo gratuito de la salvación a través de la sangre de Jesús, ¡este va a ser el día más grande de todos! Escuche lo que dice la Escritura en 1 Tesalonicenses 4:16-18: "Porque el Señor mismo descenderá del cielo con voz de mando, con voz de arcángel y con trompeta de Dios. Y los muertos en Cristo resucitarán primero. 17 Entonces nosotros, los que estemos vivos y los que hayamos quedado, seremos arrebatados juntamente con ellos en las nubes para recibir al Señor en el aire. Y así estaremos siempre con el Señor. 18 Por tanto, consolaos los unos a los otros con estas palabras.
¡Eso es tan poderoso! Nuestro Jesús va a regresar con un grito, y todos los que han muerto resucitarán a sus cuerpos glorificados, y los que permanezcan en ese momento verán a todos sus seres queridos que han muerto antes que ellos. Es por eso que podemos consolarnos unos a otros con estas palabras.
Así que hoy, ¡mira hacia arriba! Nuestra redención se está acercando. El mundo se está desmoronando, la oscuridad está barriendo la tierra como nunca antes, pero nuestra luz se está volviendo más y más brillante. Pronto, sí, muy pronto, vamos a ver al Rey de reyes y Señor de señores. Pronto vamos a ver a Aquel que nos ama y dio su vida por nosotros. Y traerá consigo a todos los que nos han precedido. ¡Uau! ¡Qué día de celebración va a ser ese!
CONFESIÓN: Mi Rey, el Señor Jesús, regresará pronto, y yo voy a estar listo para Su regreso. Anhelo ver a Aquel que me ama como ningún otro.
