Dear Partners World Wide, I bring to you my (Dr. Diana Brevan) ponderings this today. May the Lord richly bless you and yours as we go right into to today’s ponderings prayer and the Word. GOD IS WILLING AND ABLE

Matthew 8:1-3 (NKJV) When He had come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him. 2 And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” 3 Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

One day Jesus was coming down from the mountain, and I guess we all know what He was doing there, praying to His Heavenly Father. The Bible says that a multitude followed Him. Then something happened in this story that I want us to see today.

A leper came and worshiped Him. Let’s look at that for a moment. If you want to get God's attention, get your mind off of yourself and get it on Him. As we worship God, and I mean truly worship Him, not just lifting our hands, but lifting our hearts, God hears us.

Then the leper said something that I think we have said many times, and that is, “Lord, if you are willing you can make me whole”. Many times when things come against us we want to know, is God willing to help us? We can say it like this, “Is it God's will to heal me or even to heal anyone”?

Look at what Jesus does and this will answer this question once and for all. Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. Jesus settled it once and for all that it is God's will to heal.

The leper basically said, “Lord I know you are able to heal, I've seen it. But are you willing?” Jesus, who is God in the flesh, said "I AM WILLING!" Once we know in our hearts that God our Father is willing to heal us and we know that He is more than able to do it, look out, were going to see results.

So today, find out what the Word says about what you’re going through and let the God that is willing and able help you remove whatever it is that has come against you.

Confession: I proclaim today that my Heavenly Father is willing and able to heal me of what I'm going through. He is the Father of Life and His Word brings Life to all my flesh. Malachi 3 = 4 Revelation 22 Psalms 150Proverbs 31:25-31
